Gabriel was a research specialist in the lab from September 2020 to July 2021. He received a B.S. in chemistry with a concentration in biochemistry and a minor in French literature from Haverford College in 2019. He spent the 2019-20 academic year studying amyloid-β aggregation at Lund University, Sweden, under a Fulbright research grant. Outside of the lab, Gabriel enjoys cooking, reading, fencing, and hiking. Gabriel went on to pursue his Ph.D. at UCSF.
